Mark began his construction career as a framer, learning the craft through hands-on work and developing an eye for precision, structural details, and workmanship. Before becoming a licensed home builder, he built a reputation as a sought-after framer whose work helped shape homes across the area. That experience continues to guide the way he evaluates plans, approaches construction, and leads his team today.

Framing remains especially personal to Mark. He understands how the accuracy and care invested in this stage influence the work that follows, from the alignment of walls and ceilings to the fit of doors, cabinetry, and finishes. He is deeply protective of those standards, which is why Kendrick Design-Build has its own in-house framing crew responsible for framing every Kendrick project. Having a dedicated team that knows his expectations allows Mark to maintain close oversight and consistency in this essential part of construction.

As founder and owner, Mark remains personally involved throughout the design and building process. From early conversations about a homesite and floor plan to construction decisions and finishing details, he brings practical insight, honest guidance, and a commitment to doing things well.
